Trending Now: Complex Claims Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons Face Today

This presentation will review complex claims that podiatrists face during the care of patients. The healthcare industry is undergoing a dramatic transformation, with changes in the delivery of care and incentives tied directly to the quality of care and patient outcomes.  It becomes clear that improving outcomes and reducing errors begins with awareness of current risks and implementing practices to avoid those risks. We will review recent complex cases stemming from various types of situations, the treatment rendered, and steps taken to mitigate those risks.
