What is included with my meeting registration?
Please review the chart above to see what is included with the Recertification Course.

What is the difference between the Review Course and the Recertification Course?
The Review Course is 31.0 CE Contact Hours covering 36 different topics over 4 days (Thursday-Sunday) that you need to be prepared to possibly see on your certification exam.  The Recertification Course covers 15 topics with 13.0 CE Contact Hours over 2 days (Saturday & Sunday).  Both courses occur at the same time; the Recertification attendees simply join the Review attendees for their lectures on Saturday & Sunday.  The topics that are covered on Saturday and Sunday are applicable to both the Review and Recertification attendees; the topics covered on Thursday and Friday for the Review attendees are considered to be subject areas that recertification attendees should already be familiar with on an everyday basis.  The Foundation does recommend that, if possible, recertification attendees participate in the entire Review Course so that you are fully prepared for the recertification exam.

What are the differences between the Classroom and Online versions of the Recertification Course?
The main difference between the classroom and online versions is where you are located.  Those who choose the classroom version will be hearing and viewing the lectures from the Marriott Hotel at the Philadelphia Airport.  Those who choose the online version will be viewing the exact same lectures at the exact same time through a high-speed Internet connection from their home or office.  Those who take the course online will be able to ask questions and participate with those in the classroom.  For more details about the online version, please visit the
Online Courses section.

Can I receive my study materials in advance of the meeting?
The Goldfarb Foundation, under any circumstances, is not able to provide any study materials in advance of the meeting.  That includes a Study Guide if you purchase it at the discounted Recertification Course price and the handout binder.  If you are taking the Recertification Course online, you will receive your Study Guide (if purchased at the discounted rate) and handout binder via UPS approximately 3 days before the meeting starts at the addess you register with.

Why do I not get Boards by the Numbers (BBTN)?
The Recertification Course attendeeds do not receive a copy of BBTN included with their meeting registration.  BBTN is designed for those going for their initial certifications and not their recertifications.  However, some DPMs who are going for recertification have found BBTN to be helpful with their studying and have purchased a subscription on their own.  To do so, please visit
Certifiable Inc. or contact Anthoy Dallalio, DPM at aed@fuse.net or 513-347-0004.

Why is the Foundation Course held after the recertification exam?
The Goldfarb Foundation offers the recertification exam in February to prepare you for the recertification exam that you would take the next year.  This gives you a year to prepare for the exam.

How do I earn credits at this meeting?
The Goldfarb Foundation will utilize a badge scanning system to account for meeting attendees credits at the Review Course.  Please read
The Goldfarb Foundation's CE Contact Hour Scanning Policy (more than 41 attendees) to become familiar with our new policy and the guidelines pertaining to it.
